Glengarry House is a residence building at Carleton University. The building is notable due to its height relative to the other residences: at 11 storeys it rises past its surroundings.
The building appears as three towers merged together in a stepped formation, creating visual depth to the large mass. In addition to its height, the building is also one of the older residences on the Carleton campus, opening in 1969 and receiving renovations in 2005.
Glengarry House is clad in a brown brick that follows a Flemish bond pattern for the entirety of the height of the building. At every other floor, a concrete C-channel is embedded into the brick, breaking up the height of the building visually. The channel is featured vertically at the edges of the building, outlining the mass.
